About
Career Connections
 Career Connections provides a centralized location where students
can identify and receive information about employment
opportunities and programs. These include job placements, internships,
work-study positions, and cooperative
work-experience.
Career Connections serves the San Luis Obispo community by working
with employers to place a qualified workforce. We provide a centralized
location for local businesses to post job openings, conduct interviews,
and meet with students on a formal or informal basis.
What is our mission?
The mission of Career Connections is to serve currently enrolled
students, potential students, and Cuesta College alumni. We provide a
center where students can develop, explore, and successfully initiate
career choices. We do not restrict ourselves to the employment function,
but work with individuals to research and find jobs and/or careers that
will best utilize their talents, education, training, life experiences,
and employment objectives.
Where are we located?
Career Connections is located in the
Student Center,
room 5310. Our
walk-in office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:00
a.m. to noon on Friday. Or call 546-3204 for an appointment.
