Communication Studies
The Communication Studies program compels students to explore the communication theories, strategies, and skills needed to succeed in our complex and diverse world. Courses focus on improving social, cultural, professional, and personal experiences through the understanding and applied practice of communication.
Many studies cite "effective communication" as the number one skill in demand in today’s
workplace. Through the study and practice of communication, students will become more
competent communicators in their professional and personal lives. Our Communication
Studies transfer degree prepares students for transfer to earn a baccalaureate degree
in Communication Studies from a California State University and University of California.
