Campus Life

Art Gallery:  The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery is located on the main San Luis campus.

: (No food services at South County Center.)

• SLO:  Cuesta Cafe serves breakfast food, hot/cold sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a daily special.
Coffee Cart offers specialty coffees, tea, muffins, fruit, and snacks.  Both are open when school is in session, no meal plans.  Vending machines located in Snack Shelter.

• NCC:  Cuesta Cafe food trailer open during classes, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Vending machines also located in Student Lounge (N2000) and Schwartz Learning Resource Center (N3100).

Bookstore at SLO and NCC campuses has snacks, candy, and cold drinks.

Children's Center:  Located on the San Luis and North County campuses, the Children's Centers serve as a lab for ECE students and an early learning program for children ages 18 months to 5 years of age.
Clubs and Social Club:  
Choose from a variety of clubs and organizations or start your own club!
Community Programs:  
Offering a variety of fee-based recreational, aquatic, and educational programs. 
CPAC:  Cuesta's 450-seat theater and 100-seat experimental theater on the San Luis campus.
Cuestonian:  Award-winning student newspaper of Cuesta College.
Cultural Center:  Schedules events to create dialogue and educate about diverse groups and cultures.
With locations on the San Luis, North County Campus, and South County Center, services include computer/internet access, copiers, circulation (borrowing privileges) and reserve materials.
Performing Arts:  Students and our ensembles have won top awards in festivals around the world through Cuesta's Music and Drama programs.
Radio Station:  
Broadcasting for over 40 years and located on the San Luis campus, KGUR is a non-profit station serving as a lab for Film, TV, and Electronic Media (FTVE) program students.  
Student Ambassador Program:  Qualified students participate in various college events, outreach, and leadership activities.  A great mentoring opportunity with a scholarship stipend upon completion.   
Student Government:  Become involved and gain experience in various leadership opportunities.
Student Internship:  Opportunities in offices of Academic Counseling, CaFE Programs, Financial Aid, DSPS, Student Life and Leadership, and Outreach.

Yes, you can afford college! The Cuesta College Financial Aid Department is here to help you find ways to pay for college tuition and related expenses via grants, waivers, scholarships, and more.

Health and Safety

Alert System:  Text messaging/email notification system for campus wide emergencies.  
⇒ Cuesta College Police Department provides a safe and secure environment with a range of services in addition to law enforcement, including escort services, crime prevention information, stranded motorist assistance, medical aid, and fingerprint services. View Clery Act Report.
Student Health Services:  Services include free, confidential healthcare services for every enrolled student that has paid the health fee.  Professional staff includes nurse practitioner, registered nurses, marriage and family therapists, and caring support staff.

Airlines:  Serving San Luis Obispo Regional Airport
Amtrak:  Stations located in San Luis Obispo (2), Grover Beach, and Atascadero.
RTA:  Regional Transit services include fixed bus routes, Runabout Paratransit, and Dial-A-Ride.   Purchase a discounted bus pass by having a valid ASCC Student ID Card at the Cashier's Office.  NCC students with a valid ASCC Student ID Card ride free the Paso Express Transit, during the school year.
