Meet the instructor

Juan Luzuriaga

 

 Juan Luzuriaga was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and immigrated to the US at 16 in 2000. He studied art in Rutgers University and UC Merced. His interest lies in exploring a spiritual connection with his ancestors through art. He offers free and paid upcycling workshops for the surrounding communities.
